PATNA: Bank of India Officers’ Association (BOIOA) is set to hold its 32nd annual general body meeting here on Sunday.
Talking to mediapersons on Saturday, chairman of the Federation of Bank of India Officers’ Association, Mukund Shintre, said: “The meeting will deliberate on the issues related to pension to retired officers, provision of employment on compassionate grounds and the outsourcing of basic jobs of the bank, among others.”
Over 500 bank officers and the association’s office-bearers from across the country will attend the meet.

BOIOA also plans to submit its resolutions to the Indian Bank Association (IBA).
National general secretary Harvinder Singh said the union would also present an account of its activities to the members. “Discussions will also be held on further improving the services of the bank,” Singh said.
Among others things, sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities, rampant corruption and other issues will also be taken up for discussion.
